SwimFin is fast becoming the market leader in the future of swimming . We are proud of the fact that we are the only aid on the market to have been endorsed by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA). We sell to over 80 countries worldwide and our growth and popularity continues to amaze every day.
SwimFin works for all ages and abilities: from toddlers taking to the water for the first time, all the way through improved learners to advanced swimmers who want to develop stroke technique. It is a teaching aid, a flotation device and a fun water toy all in one. It should be worn high on the back, above the centre of gravity. This way it will 'suspend' the child in the water - it will never tip a child forward.
When a child puts one on they immediately become more active, playing, building confidence, learning, experimenting and having FUN! SwimFin plays a large psychological part in learning to swim, even before a lesson has started. Kids love the feeling of safety and security SwimFin gives them, while it motivates and encourages imagination and play.
The most important thing about SwimFin is this: the more sub-merged in the water it is, the more support it's giving. This means when the child is vertical, doggy paddling through the water, SwimFin will be almost completely submerged, giving maximum support. As the child’s body position becomes more horizontal, SwimFin comes out of the water giving less support. This means the child is swimming naturally themselves with less aid and assistance.
Swimfin never has to be inflated, deflated, or need to have additional support added or removed as with armbands/discs, body vests etc. Unlike other swimming aids it works on all 4 swim strokes and leaves the arms completely free to move.
A SwimFin should never be used with a baby that cannot control their body yet, and it must NEVER be worn on the front of the body. Always apply common sense around water and supervise children at all times. See Less
