Award winning Carddies, the Card People to Colour and Go, are very cute sets of Card People and animals who live in a box: children colour them in, give them names, make up their stories, and bring them to life. Hours of fun colouring and play!
There is a collection of 12 colour and play sets: Carddies London, Sports, School, Fairies, Cavemen, Football, Ballet, Knights, Family One and Two, Farm and Nativity.
Carddies suits both girls and boys aged 3 to 99! Perfect for families on the go, each set includes 12 colouring pencils, 12 double-sided figures with stands and a double-sided backdrop (which can be used as a play scene and a naming card), all included in a colourful sliding box.
Each toy/arts/craft kit is self-contained, very portable and made from durable premium card: perfect for travel (keeping children amused on any journey or outing), or for quiet time at home. Carddies are compact and easy to post as a gift. They also make excellent stocking fillers, or special party or wedding favours.
Carddies are educational...encouraging creativity, pretend play, imagination and role play, as well as the development of fine motor skills (colouring in/using the stands) and vocabulary (story telling/describing the little people/colours/game to others). It is a toy which can be played with alone, or perfect for sharing. The toy also encourages independence (very little or no parental involvement required, unless desired!)
Made in the UK. The Carddies are 100% British designed, made and assembled using materials of the highest quality. The premium uncoated white card with which they are made provides a wonderful colouring surface. The British sourced colouring pencils are made in Indonesia using wood from well-managed forests. The pencil leads are of art pencil standard.
Eco-friendly. The Carddies also have strong environmental credentials.
Our story. Carddies are made by two sisters, Esther and Raquel. Raquel started drawing hundreds of little card people and animals for her three daughters when they were little, to colour in and play. On holiday it was the perfect way to get though a wet afternoon, or when in a restaurant/café/outing/travelling. Over time she realised other children loved her card people too, and with Esther’s involvement, the Carddies became a proper toy!
CHOKING HAZARD: Carddies are not suitable for children under three years due to small parts
